AMU School 2023 Admission Eligibility Criteria

Before filling AMU application form, Candidates must read eligibility criteria properly. Only those applicants who fulfill eligibility criteria can apply for application form. The eligibility criteria for admission of class I, VI & IX is as follows-

Nationality Candidate must be a citizen of India, Foreign nationals, and children of Non-Resident Indians (NRI’s) are eligible for admission to AMU school.

I Class 1. Applicant’s Age must be between 5 to 7 years as of 31st March 2023.

Class VI 1. Candidate’s Age must be between 10 to 12 years as of 31st March 2023. 2. Applicants must have passed class V from a recognized board.

Class IX 1. Age of the Candidate must be between 13 to 15 years as of 31st March 2023. 2. Applicants must have passed class VIII from a recognized board. 3. The school must provide Class-VII mark sheets for verification.

Aligarh Muslim University School Fee Structure

The AMU School Fee charged in all Schools is as follows-

• Class I-VIII (Boys) Annual Amount of Fee Rs. 4320 and Fee per installment Rs. 1080.
• Class IX-X (Boys) Annual Amount of Fee Rs. 6720 and Fee per installment Rs. 1680.
• Class I-X (Girls) Annual Amount of Fee Rs. 4320 and Fee per installment Rs. 1080.

AMU School Exam Pattern 2023 & Selection Process

Applicants of Class I, VI & IX are selected based on an admission test. The Total Merit will have the following components-

1. Written Test will be 100 Marks.
2. The Personal Interview have 25 Marks.

For Class 1st

• Written Test shall comprise 25 subjective/ objective type questions on English, Arithmetic, Urdu, and GK.
• Candidates need to secure a minimum of 10% marks in the written test to be eligible for interview/ admission.

For Class VI & IXth

• Section-I: It will be of 30 marks comprising 30 Objective type questions (MCQ)of one mark each on Languages (English, Urdu & Hindi)
• Section-II: It shall be of 70 marks comprising of 70 Objective type questions(MCQ) of one mark each with the following break-up:
• Mathematics: 35 marks
• Science: 35 Marks

Please Note: Candidates need to secure a minimum of 40% marks in Section-I in the written test to be eligible for interview/ admission.
