The written examination for recruitment of Junior Lineman will be conduct at different centers located in the GHMC area.
Junior Lineman Scheme of the Examination
- The written test comprising of 80 marks consisting of 80 multiple choice questions.
- Each Question carrying 1 mark.
- The Section A consist of 65 question on core I.T.I subject.
- The Section B Consisting of 15 questions on General Knowledge.
- The Duration of the Written Exam will be 2 hours.

The Written Exam for the recruitment of Junior lineman will be held As soon as possible-
TS Transco JLM Selection Process
A. Evaluation shall be done on the follows:
Total Marks:- 100
(i) Written Test Marks:- 80 marks
Minimum qualifying marks in the written Test as per rules:
- OC:- 40%
- BC:- 35%
- SC/ST:- 30%
- PH:- 30%
(ii) Weightage marks for in service outsourced workers engaged on contract basis and who qualify in the written Test : 20 Marks (maximum) as indicated as.
(iii) The eligible candidates will be called for Pole/ Tower Climbing test in the ratio of 1:1 duly following rule of Reservation and Spirit of Presidential Order.
(iv) There Will Be No Interview.
(V) Medical Fitness Certificate issued by the Assistant Civil Surgeon should be furnished at the time of joining.
Instructions to candidates at the time of Written Examination
- The test is two hours duration. The date and time will be indicated on the hall ticket. Candidates should reach on the test center in time. The candidates have to report 30 Minutes before the examination Venue. Candidates will not be allowed in to the examination hall after the test has started and will not be permitted to leave the examination hall before the closure of test time under any circumstances.
- The test will be of objective type with multiple choice question with only one answer being correct among the four alternatives suggested.
- A separate OMR answer sheet with the carbon impression paper will be provided to the candidates. The candidates has to indicate his response to each question by darkening the appropriate bubble with a Black Ball Point Pen. No Corrections with white fluid will be permitted.
- The candidates has to follow meticulously all the instructions given on the question paper booklet and OMR answer sheet, else, the answer sheet may not be valued.
- Usage of calculators/mathematical tables is not permitted. Candidates not bring cell phones or any other electronics gadgets to the examination hall.
- The Preliminary key will be published on the website next day of the examination.
- If there are any objections on preliminary key, Same can be raised within 3 days to email:- cgm.hrd@tstransco.in.
