TSNPDCL JLM Exam Scheme 2022
- The written test comprising of 80 marks consisting of 80 multiple choice questions.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- The section A consisting of 65 questions on core I.T.I subject.
- The section B consisting of 15 questions on General Awareness and Numerical Ability.
- The duration of the written examination will be of 2 hours.
- The test will be conducted in English & Telugu languages only
- There will be no interview.

Junior Lineman Selection Process
Evaluation shall be done as follows:
Total Marks = 100
(i) Written Test Marks : 80 marks
(ii) Weightage Marks for in-service outsourced workers engaged on contract basis working as on the date of this notification and who qualify in the Written Test : 20 marks (maximum) as indicated at item ‘C’.
Minimum qualifying marks in the Written Test as per rules :
OC : 40%
BC : 35%
SC/ST : 30%
(iii) The eligible candidates will be called for Pole Climbing test in the ratio of 1:1 duly following Rule of Reservation and Spirit of Presidential Order.
(NOTE: The candidates who qualify in the Pole climbing test will only be eligible for appointment to the post of JLM)
Instructions to Candidates at the time of Written Examination:
- Candidates should reach the test center in time. The applicants have to report 30 Minutes before the examination venue. Candidates will not be allowed into the examination hall after the test has started and will not be permitted to leave examination hall before the closure of test time under any circumstances. The candidates shall appear for written examination at their own cost.
- A separate O M R (Optical mark Reader) answer sheet with the carbon impression paper will be provided to the candidates. The candidate has to indicate his response to each question by darkening the appropriate bubble with a Black Ball Point pen. No corrections with white fluid will be permitted.
- The candidate has to follow meticulously all the instructions given on the question paper booklet and OMR Answer Sheet else, the answer sheet may not be valued.
- Usage of Calculators/mathematical tables is not permitted. Candidates should not bring cell phones or any other electronic gadgets to the examination hall.
- If there are any objections on the preliminary key, the same can be raised within 3 days from the display of preliminary key to e-mail: jshrd@tsnpdcl.in.
