सेंट्रल बोर्ड ऑफ़ सेकेंडरी एजुकेशन (सीबीएसई) ने इस साल के लिए सिंगल गर्ल चाइल्ड स्कालरशिप लांच कर दी है। यह स्कालरशिप 11वीं व 12वीं में पढ़ने वाली छात्राओं को दी जाती है। स्कालरशिप के लिए आवेदन करने वाली छात्राओं के दसवीं में 60 प्रतिशत व इससे अधिक अंक होना अनिवार्य है। सीबीएसई ने शुक्रवार को ही अपनी वेबसाइट पर स्कालरशिप की जानकारी अपलोड की है। 11वीं पास करके 12वीं में पढ़ने वाली छात्राएं भी इसके लिए आवेदन कर सकती है। वहीं सीबीएसई स्कूल में पढ़ने वाले एनआरआई स्टूडेंट्स भी आवेदन कर सकते है। चयनित छात्राओं को प्रतिमाह 500 रुपए दिए जाएंगे। छात्राओं की ट्यूशन फी 1500 रुपए से अधिक होनी चाहिए। एनआरआई छात्राओं के लिए अलग प्रावधान है। दो साल के लिए यह स्कालरशिप प्रदान की जाती है। 30 नवम्बर तक इस स्कालरशिप के लिए सीबीएसई की वेबसाइट पर आवेदन किया जा सकता है।

The Scholarship is given for girls who are a single girl for their parents, for help their parents by giving them with further education. Scheme for the single girl child is an effort created by CBSE for the single girl students who have secured minimum of 60% marks or 6.2 CGPA grades in class 10. Why Single Girl Scholarship Scheme?
CBSE Board has launched CBSE Single Girl Scholarship Scheme 2022 to reward meritorious girl students who are single or only child of their parents. The scheme is aimed at recognizing the efforts put in by their parents to promoting education among girls and to provide encouragement to meritorious students.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Rewards 2022
The scholarship will be awarded for period of 2 years. However, After passing 11th with minimum 50 % marks, candidates have to apply for renewal of scholarship. Selected students will receive INR 500/- per month. Payment will be done through NEFT /ECS.
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The Scholarship shall be given on the basis of merit list from the result of CBSE Class X Examination. The Eligibility Criteria Shall be as under:
i) All single girls students, Who have secured 60% / 6.2 CGPA or more marks/grades in CBSE Class X Examination and are studying Class XI & XII in School (affiliated with CBSE) whose tuition fee is not more than Rs. 1,500/- p.m. during the academic year, shall be considered for the purpose. In the next two years, The total enhancement in tuition fee in such school shall not be more than 10% of the tuition fee charged.
Note:- NRI applicants of the board are also eligible for the award. The tuition fee for the NRIs has been decided maximum of Rs. 6,000/- per month.
ii) The Scholarship shall be awarded to the Indian nationals only.
iii) The students must continue her school studies in Class XI and XII in school.
iv) A candidate who has passed CBSE Class X Examination in 2022 will be considered.
v) A scholar under the scheme while availing scholarship can enjoy another concession (s) given by the school in which she is studying other organization(s).
Duration of Scholarship and its Renewal
i) The scholarship awarded shall be renewed for a period of one year i.e. successful completion of class XI. Renewal shall also depend on promotion to the next class provided the scholar secures 50% or more marks in aggregate in the examination. which determines her promotion to the next class.
ii) The renewal/ continuation of the scholarship, in cases where a scholar gives up the chosen course of study before its completion or if she changes the school or course of study shall be subject to prior approval of the Board. Good conduct and regularity in attendance are required for continuance of scholarship. The decision of the Board shall be final and binding in all such matters. A Scholarship once cancelled shall not be renewed under any circumstances.
CBSE Single Child Rate of Scholarships and Mode of Payment
The rate of the scholarship shall be Rupees Five Hundred (Rs. 500/-) per month. A Scholarship awarded under the scheme shall be paid for a maximum period of two years. Payment will be made through demand drafts/ECS.
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Selection Process
a) Student should have passed Class X Examination from the CBSE and secured 6.2 CGPA or more.
b) Pursuing Class XI & XII from CBSE affiliated Schools.
c) Student(Girl) should be the ONLY CHILD of their parents.
d) Original Affidavit duly attested by the First Class Judicial Magistrate/ SDM/
Executive Magistrate/Notary as per prescribed format available on the Board’s website. (Photocopy of Affidavit will not be accepted).
e) An application form should be attested by the School Principal from where the student is pursuing Class XI after passing Class X from Board’s Examination.
f) Tuition fee should not be more than Rs. 1,500/- per month in Class X and 10% enhancement for Class XI & XII.
How to Apply Single Girl Child Scholarship Application Form 2022
- Candidate needs to enter her roll number and certificate no. (as printed on the class X grade sheet) in order to submit the online application form.
- Fill all your particulars carefully and submit the form.
- Note down the Registration Number shown on the page. This will be used while uploading documents and also for all other future communications.
- Print the undertaking as provided in the “Guidelines Document” (this document), fill it, paste the photograph and get it attested from school.
- Prepare affidavit, as per format provided in the “Guidelines Document”.
- Scan the above two documents, ie Affidavit, and Undertaking so as to create JPG image file of up to 1 MB size.
- Go to “Upload Document” option and upload both the above documents.
- Go to print “Confirmation Page” option and generate the confirmation page.
- Send duly filled and signed confirmation page to “Scholarship Unit”, CBSE, Shiksha Kendra, 2 Community Centre, Delhi – 110092.
