The Polytechnic Joint Entrance Exam 2023 will be conducted for various groups (Group A to Group K). There will be one paper for each group of JEECUP. There is different question paper for different examination for which syllabus will also differ. We are providing details regarding UP Polytechnic exam pattern-
- The question paper will consist of total 100 questions.
- Only objective type questions will be asked in the examination for which four options are provided and the candidates are required to choose only one correct answer.
- All Examination papers are printed in two columns, one in Hindi and other in English Medium.
- JEECUP will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based mode).
- The total time allotted to solve the question paper is 3 hours.
- For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
- 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Important Instructions for Candidates
Here we have listed some instructions which should be followed at the exam centre:
- Candidates should reach the exam centre before the starting of exam.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter examination after the 30 minutes of the starting of exam.
- Students have to use only ball point pen to answer the questions.
- Any type of textual material, Slide Rules, Calculators, Log Tables, Electronic Watches, etc are not allowed in the exam.
- One photograph will be for admit card & other one will be pasted on verification form and it will be verified by respective exam centre authority.
