APSET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who have going to fill AP SET Application form 2020, firstly they must check complete Eligibility Parameters of Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test 2020. We have given below the eligibility-
- Aspirants should have secured minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master’s degree or equivalent exam from any university/college that is recognized by UGC. Candidates belonging to reserved categories such as OBC (non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PwD are eligible to apply if they have secured minimum 50% aggregate in their Master’s degree or equivalent exam.
- Candidates who are enrolling for their Master’s degree final year exam and whose exam result is awaited can also apply for APSET exam.
- Candidates who possess a PhD degree and who have completed their Master’s level examination by September 19, 1991 (irrespective of date when result is declared) will be eligible for 5% relaxation in aggregate marks (that is, from 55% to 50%) for appearing in APSET exam.
There is no upper age limit for applicants applying for the post of Assistant Professor.
Eligible candidates who wish to apply for APSET 2019 may submit their applications through online mode.

AP SET Exam Pattern 2020
Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. Paper-I shall consist of 50 objective typequestions. Each question will carry 2 marks.
Paper-II shall consist of 100 objective type questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper – I and Paper – II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.
There is No Negative Marking.

The question paper – I which is common for all candidates appearing APSET will be bilingual (English and Telugu).

APSET Admit Card 2020
AP SET hall tickets will be available in June through online only. Applicants can download the Admit Card from official site. To download hall ticket, Candidates will be required to enter their Unique Registration Number (URN). AP SET Hall Ticket 2020 will not be sent by post system. The hall Ticket will contain the details like name of the applicants, exam date, time, and venue etc. Hall Ticket should be produced at the time of exam along with the valid id proof like Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport etc.
APSET Cut Off 2020
AP SET exam is conducted to elected aspirants for the post of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in the Andhra Pradesh. The exam is conducted by Andhra University on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh Government. AP has 26 Universities, 146 Government Degree Colleges, 1192 aided as well as unaided degree colleges. Candidates who appear for APSET can only qualify it if they meet the AP SET cutoff 2019 for the exam.
APSET 2020 Results
Andhra University releases APSET Result on official site of the teaching entrance exam. Result for Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test will be announce in Nov-Dec 2020. Applicants can check their APSET 2019 Result by providing their application number/roll number and pass on the official portal of the exam.
AP SET Result is declared online only and students can’t check it offline. As part of APSET Result candidates will be provided their merit as well as qualifying status.
